We recommend placing a sample order to confirm that your ecommerce store is properly connected to Lulu Direct and ready to fulfill customer orders.

There are two ways to place a sample order.

Option 1: Place an order through your ecommerce storefront

Add the product to your cart and complete the checkout process as a customer would. After the order has been processed and has appeared in the Lulu Direct Dashboard, which can take up to 30 minutes, you can refund the payment if needed. This method is recommended because it confirms that your checkout and order flow are working correctly from end to end.

Option 2: Create an order from your ecommerce platform’s admin dashboard

You can manually create an order directly within the admin area of your ecommerce platform. Instructions for creating orders in each supported platform are provided below.

Shopify:


For Shopify you will need to create a Draft Order.

1. In Shopify go to the Orders page, then click Create order.


2. Search for the product.



3. Select the product and click Add.



4. Search or create a customer.



5. Select Mark as paid and then click Create order.



6. Go to the Channel Orders page in the Lulu Direct Dashboard.


Wix:


For Wix you will need to create a New Order.


1. On Wix’s Dashboard you will need to go to the Orders page and click Add New Order.



2. Click Add Item and then select Product.



3. Select the product and click Add to Order.



4. Select or add a customer.



5. Click Create Order and click Create Order again for the pop-up.



6. Click Collect Payment and select Mark as Paid. Confirm it payment with the pop-up.



7. Wait 15 to 30 minutes, then check the Lulu Direct Dashboard’s Channel Orders page.


Woo:


For Woo you will need to manually Add an Order.


1. In Woo’s admin panel you will need to go to the orders page and click Add new order.



2. Change the status to Processing.



3. Add a Billing and Shipping Address by clicking on the pencil icon.



4. Click Add item(s) and then select Add product(s).



5. Find your product and click Add.



6. Click Create.



7. Wait 15 to 30 minutes, then check the Lulu Direct Dashboard’s Channel Orders page.
