Your ecommerce store can be configured to automatically send shipment notification emails that include tracking information to your customers.TABLE OF CONTENTSShopifyWix:Woo:ShopifyOrders should remain in the Unfulfilled status while they are in production. Once an order ships, our app will automatically update the order status to Fulfilled in Shopify, which will trigger Shopify to send a shipment notification email to your customer that includes tracking information.To ensure shipment emails are sent correctly, verify your Order Processing settings in Shopify are configured as one of the following:Automatically fulfill only the gift cards of the orderDon’t fulfill any of the order’s line items automaticallyTo verify, go to Shopify Settings > General > and scroll down to Order Processing.If Automatically fulfill the order’s line items is selected, Shopify will immediately mark the order as Fulfilled and archive it at the time of order creation. In this case, Shopify will not send a shipment notification email when the order later ships.Note: Do not manually change the order status to In Progress or fulfilled within Shopify. If the status is adjusted, the order will not update correctly when it ships. Orders must remain unfulfilled until fulfillment is triggered by our app.Wix:By default, Wix automatically sends shipment notification emails with tracking information. No additional configuration or settings changes are required.Woo:By default, Woo sends a shipment notification email once an order ships, and no additional configuration is required. However, Woo does not natively support tracking numbers. As a result, shipment emails will not include tracking information.To include tracking numbers in shipment notifications, you must install Woo’s official Shipment Tracking plugin. While other third-party plugins may also support tracking, this is the only plugin we can officially confirm is compatible with Lulu Direct.
